Warning: Spoilers
The Zombie King is one of the worst films I have ever watched. There is no plot, no characterisation. Scenes seem to be presented in random order. There is a vast amount of clunky exposition to give the audience details of the scenes that were too expensive to shoot...which is everything that doesn't involve a handful of losers wandering about a field. Furlong appears for about 10 minutes..they play the scenes with his wife several times to make it seem like he's in the film longer. Failedman appears for 5 minutes with what appear to be cornflakes stuck on his face. The bald postman does a bad Clint Eastwood impression. The fat women thinks she is in the Benny Hill Show. The entire cast seem to be reading their lines off a card. Even among this staggering catalogue of incompetence Jon Campling as the alcoholic priest who knows all about voodoo and zombies stands out as a bad actor. He has no idea of how to convince as a drunk or a priest. Special mention must be made of the make-up for the zombies. There is none. The ending is the most shameless rip off of a George Romero film I've ever seen, made even worse by the obvious cheapness and lousy acting.
