The 9th season of HIMYM has been a disaster for me as I found it to be a snail paced time passing season. I have even started to wonder why did I love this series in the first place!
This episode gave me the answer: Because it portrays love and relationships in a sensible and humorous ways. The first 8 episodes of the 9th season haven't had much impact as they concentrated more on just killing the time.
Character of "Mother" is portrayed in the best possible way in this episode. It would have been great if this were the introduction of the mother to this show. It's that good and impacting. Barney meeting mother and she playing an important role in Barney's decision of getting Robin back with the "Final page" of the play-book are just beautiful!
I hope to see more of this magic.
