Another Chuck Norris party; everyone's invited, but not all will enjoy it. To be honest, the man has no charisma, but I guess it is just that which gives him his appeal, if that makes any sense. The plot is shameful, but it delivers plenty of hilariously bad and unsuccessful scenes. The invasion itself, with about 'twenty to forty' (no one knows how to count...) tanks going up the beach, is downright silly, but the subsequent modus operandi is quite nasty; turning people against the police (which only really worked well in one scene, though) reminded me even of a Charles Manson scheme. Then there's a reference to the Zodiac killer, when a school bus full of children is attacked. Yes, it's a journey to get past the shame of it, but in the year 2013 that is a lot easier than it would have been around the time this film was made.
