Reviewing simply off the American dubbed version from an old VHS tape I dusted off recently, I couldn't help but be a little disappointed viewing this right after the original Gojira. Almost positive the Japanese version (Godzilla Counterattack) will be superior, I'll have to wait until I find a copy of it. Raids Again however has its noticeable basic flaws being the wrong roar of Godzilla and the name itself, being called Gigantis. During the dubbing the story and characters seem jumbled up to much so I'm assuming they basically made the script from scratch. I'm giving Godzilla Raids Again an average rating simply for the fact of the premise and the actions scenes between Godzilla and Angilas. I'll have to find the Japanese version to give an updated review in the future.....
