Dexter is following Travis expecting to find Gellar; however he receives a phone call from Debra telling that Sam was shot in the repair shop and is in coma. Dexter decides to hunt down Leo Hernandez but detective Mike Anderson arrives before him with the police and Leo is murdered in a shooting. They find the DVD with the security footage and Dexter notes that the dog is not barking and he suspects of Nick. Meanwhile Debra requests the presence of Carissa Porter in Miami to give her testimony about Gellar and she learns that Quinn had one night stand with Carissa, jeopardizing the case. Then Debra follows the psychologist's recommendation and gives a party at her house. Travis has difficulties to follow Gellar's instructions and releases the girl that they have kidnapped. Brother Sam is near death but he talks to Dexter and asks him to forgive Nick. When Sam dies, Dexter finds himself in a crossroad between Sam's last wish and his code. Which one will prevail for Dexter?

"Just Let Go" is one of the best episodes of this Sixth Season where there is a battle between the darkness and the light. Brother Sam was one of the most charismatic characters of this Season and I am upset with his death. Dexter has recently had two great characters that might have helped him to get rid of his dark passenger, Lumen and mainly Brother Sam. Unfortunately in this battle between good and evil, the last one is winning. My vote is nine.
