The American pie series did one thing wrong is took the blame on-itself that it is the franchise that started the trend about teenagers looking for women,sex & fun,some people who don't about 70s or 80s film there were many films that started this the best i can name is of Sylvia Krystel Private Lessons 1981 it is the best film ever made.
But its not 90s or even Early 2000s anymore its a new decade 2014 is the year and these filmmakers are trying hard to entertain people using same story lines,jokes & comedy moments we all have seen before its just old whine in a new bottle thats it,just one thing is funny here when our hero cant control himself around a girl & discharges it then wakes up in the bed again naked.
The Plot:a school student wants loose his virginity things are not going well because something is happening & he is reliving the days until it is the right one.
Some are even comparing this to groundhog day lets be honest here this film can never be as good as older films,sure there are some scenes in this film that will make you laugh but on the whole its not worth the time or money.
As for the cast none of them impress except Craig Roberts who is superb here with his comic timing,and may i ask what happened to Katie Findlay this lady is extremely talented and can do some deep acting if the better script is available why did she level herself down to this tragedy what was she thinking when she signed this film on she saw some cash not thinking it could ruin her career she needs to be careful in the future no to make the same mistake twice.
Overall Premature 2014 is a bad comedy drama that mostly apes other films & hardly relies on originality my rating is 3/10.
