The search for the golden barge
20 August 2014
Three Mexican musicians are traveling across the country when they suddenly see a farm burned down by bandits. By a stroke of luck, they find in the ruins of the house what the bandits didn't find: a treasure map showing where Montezuma's legendary golden barge is hidden. The problem is, the hiding-place is next to the camp of the dangerous bandit El Supremo. But the three musicians make the acquaintance of a very fast gunman, Johnny Madoc aka Pecos, and they decide that with his help, it is worth trying, so the four men go together on a hunt for the treasure.

This is a sequel to "Johnny Madoc", starring Robert Woods again as Pecos (or Johnny Madoc in dubbed versions). It has a very bizarre villain (El Supremo thinks he is a descendant of Montezuma and sits on a throne), but the first movie had more narrative elegance and qualities, whereas the second one is somewhat clumsy.
