The series is sword and fantasy comedy as reluctant hero Krod Mandoon (Sean Maguire) a freedom fighter lacking in prowess and confidence takes on the the evil ruler, Chancellor Dongalor (Matt Lucas) with his band of inept freedom fighters. The highlight is the sultry India de Beaufort who uses sex as a weapon.
Somehow the series is not that funny or clever, the slapstick is not that inspiring or surreal. If you looking for something in the vein of The Princess bride this is not it.
