this movie is too painful to describe, this is one of the worst projects done by rajini. well only the craaazzzyyyy fans of rajinikath with get a kick out of the movie, otherwise the movie is too generic, too predictable and flat out dry. given that its a movie of a very respected director, he just hasn't done his best in this movie.

pros: unquestionably the acting is great across the board, rajini puts his best into the movie. hes just as bad-ass as he is in all his other movies. Anuska does a fine job as a heroine but shes not given as much to do as one would expect. sonaksi is a real stand out. as its her debut film shes really pulls of her character and she is one of the best things in the movie. the supporting cast is strong and the witty comedy is heart warming. the action is just what you'll expect in a rajini movie but thats about.thats all thats good abt the movie
cons: as u can expect the bad things is just gonna pile up here. the script is paper thin and the length of the movie is its biggest flaw. the movie is too draggy and the screenplay is too boring to watch. the flashback sequence of the movie is way to long. the editing is mediocre and the song placement just doesn't make sense. the biggest letdown in the movie is the final 15min. it just destroys logic in every way possible. the movie tried hard to make us "wow" but it just ended up making us place our hands on our heads in grief.
its best to be left unwatched. it just doesn't pack a punch and its a total waste of movie, watch it when it comes on TV someday. this is not the one you want to spend on.
