This series is about 4 characters that need one another to grow as individuals. It's about how important it is to take care of oneself to be able to find happiness together, that playing it save doesn't work out sometimes, and that people change for the good and the bad.
I majorly disagree with one of the negative reviews: From the nude scenes to the emotional meltdown clashes, none of it feels fake or inappropriate. It would be fake if there was no nudity. Amanda Peet plays a character pretty much cut out of real life with a history of bad choices for the wrong reasons. I hope the series is here to stay and that I don't forget about it as always - IMDb is an attempt of leaving myself a note!
