I thoroughly enjoyed this show when it first started, and gave it nine stars. I liked the idea of him learning more from each death, etc. But, the writers don't seem to know how to exploit the concept of living eternally into the context. So, what do they do? They stop using it. It has devolved into a standard same old-same old detective show that offers nothing original. They have dropped the other character who is also immortal — what happened to that plot? I really would liked to have seen what they could do with an immortal doctor, but it seems they have run out of ideas. It's a shame, because I enjoy the actors and I enjoy the concept.
