Unstoppable (I) (2004)
3/10
Wesley Must've Been Desperate
5 April 2015
I know that Wesley Snipes had some tax troubles but dang! He was reduced to this? If Unstoppable ever made a stop on the big screen I missed it. I'm sure this movie was straight to DVD, and if it wasn't, it should have been. This movie had low budget written all over it. The sound was bad, the special effects were worse and the acting was worser. The lead detective, Amy Knight (Jacqueline Obradors), was so over the top with her badassedness that it was comical and it looked like even Wesley mailed it in.

Wesley Snipes as an ex-special ops guy is believable. He's done plenty of action films so that's no stretch. The convoluted story of an experimental drug, mistaken identity, a tougher than leather detective and trench coat wearing goons was just too much to bear. There were two henchman that actually ran around the whole movie in trench coats like 1930's G-Men. Good grief.
