The Simpsons (1989– )

Who cares if the newer episode aren't as good?!

There's a lot of hate coming from people on this site, giving the show 1 star by complaining about the newer episodes. Let's look at The Simpsons as a whole, rather than focusing on certain seasons.

The characters are diverse, the writing is smart, and the satire is golden. You have a whole universe within the show of Springfield residents and mayhem that goes on. Within each episode, something happens that changes everything (Homer gets a pet monkey, Bart accidentally burns down the Christmas tree, etc.) and at the end, they have to resolve it. It paints a picture of upper middle class American families and how they deal with everyday situations. A lot goes on in Springfield and some of my favorites are voiced by Hank Azaria and Harry Shearer.

Overall, The Simpsons is great entertainment that is family-friendly for the most part. There's a lot to like about this show and try to focus on it as a whole series because let's admit the newer episodes aren't as good but that doesn't stop it from being an amazing show!
