House of Glass (1992 TV Movie)

The last heir of a wealthy dynasty of glass-makers returns to the old family mansion with his American wife, intent on selling it, but the resident poltergeists have different plans.

Simple ghost story, with a few mild spooks. Not much for the actors to work with, but they play their stock characters OK. It's well paced, and pulls off the moral of the story neatly.

Of course there's lots of glass in it, so the director has a bit of fun with that. Although I didn't get why he obscured the lead actress' face with a flower arrangement as the camera tracked across her reaction during a phone call.

Not a bad use of half an hour.
