I did actually manage to watch this whole movie, but it was a painful experience. I saw another review that mentioned how the girl playing Brittany looked nothing like her - she may have had the curly hair that Murphy had during the filming of Clueless, but that was about the extent of it. It was pretty awful to watch.
Having recently seen that fabulous documentary film about Amy Winehouse, I can say that this movie was worlds and worlds apart from the Amy one. Then again, the Amy one was full of actual documentary footage. This one was a really awkward telemovie that shouldn't have ever been produced.
I saw that Murphy's father called it 'trashy' - I couldn't agree more. I think Murphy deserves something much better.
