This movie obviously draws it's hilarity from actual native communities instead of some weird outdated portrayal; it's refreshing. The writers managed to fit in a lot of little details that give it some authentic character.
If you don't have the patience for low budget films, look elsewhere. At times the acting and story line don't always flow smoothly, but nothing out of the ordinary for most independent movies.
This movie made my family and I laugh so much we had to pause it in multiple places. There's nothing like humor that hits close to home.
Some of my favorite parts of the movie include the interaction between grandma and sheriff art, the bumbling and high strung tourists, and of course the absolutely amazing chase scene with the interfering tribal police.
