You might Except this show to just be a Loud and gimmicky show about a teen age princess that like every Live action show just tries to pull in the pre-teen demographic, But this show has really good action, characters, animation and quirky humor. The show is about a Teenage princess with a magic wand living with a normal earth family (yes both parents) to practice her magic skills with the wand all the while fighting off evil monster and learning something every time (or so). One thing I really like is that the Boy Marco isn't A total Love interest because that always cliché, in fact both Star and Marco have crushes on different people but there are shippers who love to pair the 2 (such as I). Star herself is a good character, she's from another dimension so there are the mandatory moments where she looks dumb but she is a smart character, her smart side usually shows up when she's on a mission or dealing with things from another dimension, She's also a lot like Mabel Pines as she is Quirky, excitable, sweet, funny and acts cute. Marco is more of the down to earth character but dose enjoy living life on the edge and the occasional monster fight. The humor of the show is fast pace but the good fast pace like Johnny Bravo and not bad fast pace like Breadwinners and it has it's slower moments when it should. And the action is really good and to think this is animated in flash, Yea Disney the Titan that is, is using flash for this show, but flash is just a tool what you can build with that tool is what counts, and at least it's really good for flash unlike a certain Comic book tee- I mean comic book Titans g-...never mind. The show also has a plot going on like Adventure Time or Gravity falls Which western animation as been getting a lot of benefits from, though this plot is not as good as others it's enjoyable and simple to follow (at least for now). I really do recommend this show, kids will like it, teens will get a laugh or 2, and nerds will love it. It's basically Powerpuff girls, meets regular show.
