Warning: Spoilers
"The Psychology of Dream Analysis" is a 10-minute short film from almost 15 years ago and it's the third directorial effort by Rian Johnson and his last before breaking through with "Brick". Back to this one here, the film is sadly not as interesting as the title suggests. I quite liked Angela Bettis' narration, but everything we saw in here was just not worth the watch. It's wild and over the place and does not even give the 2 actors a chance to shine in my opinion, regardless from the fact that we also do not hear them. This film certainly was an improvement to Johnson's previous work about cars and basically on par with his rookie project about horror golf balls. But it still wasn't a good movie. Not recommended and it seems it needed for him to get considerably past his short film efforts in order to become th filmmaker he is today. Not recommended, although taking a closer look at the subject here, none of it actually makes sense.
