I have never been engaged before by long series, however this caught my attention long before release. The beginning of the series leaves you in a blissful confusion of interesting characters and locations. As the series develops, it becomes even more engaging.
The camera work, music and casting is flawless, and refreshingly realistic. I can understand that this may not be for everyone but i'm a young age and i can honestly say that this series had me captured. It has a strange yet oddly compelling mix of human beauty and human savagery, with unexpected turns from characters you thought you knew, and overall this makes for a genuinely maelstrom of emotion.
