Spoiled by the music
14 June 2016
The previous episodes in this series have all had a great score - it has fit the mood and moment very well. Good emotion.

In the episode before this one, there was some kind of dance music played by new recruits that fit.

Not sure why, but this episode contains a lame dance sound-track theme throughout its entirety. All action scenes lose their impact. The consistency of the score means that the episode feels very flat and contains no dramatic or epic moments whatsoever.

It makes no sense. There is no build-up or tension. Only oonceoonce oonceoonce bleeepbleepbedoopeedoopeee oonceoonce lightsaber lightsaber R2R3 oonceoonceetc... Ah it's so bad... Totally ruined.

There are many moments where the music could have turned this drab episode into something better than it actually is.

The story is good, the plot is good. Episodic characters are good. Animation seems to be slightly lower FPS than other episodes in places.

There is nothing wrong with this episode. No fault - except the music is completely wrong, not fitting with star-wars nor the content.

I haven't watched these series for a few years. I remember being annoyed at this music thing last time around. Hopefully it was a one-off, because it stinks up the episode even worse this time around.
