It's 2015 and Becca Brady (Laura Ramsey) is getting married a second time. Her first marriage to Sean Reeves disintegrated. She hasn't talked to her best friend Lolly Lavigne (Sarah Goldberg) in ten years after a fight. Her new groom is nice childhood friend Andy Kelly although she feels little heat. She had wasted her life in a horrible job. Her brother Jamie is a mess. There's her annoying cousin Phoebe. Her parents are divorced. Her father has a young newly-pregnant second wife. Something happens in an elevator and she finds herself waking up in 1995 on the eve of her first wedding.
This is a functional time-traveling premise. It is a romantic dramedy rather than a sci-fi show. Laura Ramsey is a functional single gal lead. There is a really nice complicated girls' friendship. It tries to be a quirky comedy at the beginning. There is good romantic drama that builds up over time. The girl does leave a trail of men behind her. It's full of 90s music for nostalgia. It's a likable half hour show that is worthy of a renewal but got canceled after 10 episodes.
