The Episode That Absolutely Without A Doubt, Redeemed Season 6's Finale Cliffhanger
23 October 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Me and I'm sure many fans of the Walking Dead, were disappointed by Season 6's "Cheap" and "Crazy" cliffhanger. The Day Will Come When You Won't Be, is by far the most psychologically, and memorizing Walking Dead episode ever. For along time my all time favorite episode of The Walking Dead was Too Far Gone from Season 4, which was an action packed mid-season finale. Season 7, episode 1, just might have topped that episode. Not only were the deaths in this season crazily done, but everything has so far improved from season 6. I was never a big fan of season 6, I found it to be a very boring drag, with a couple good episodes. This episode has taken improvement to a whole other level. The editing in this episode is so well done and haunting, and really added to the episode. Lets just get out of the way that the acting in this was unbelievably perfect. The way everyone acted was perfection, especially from Andrew Lincoln and of course Jeffrey Dean Morgan, plus Lauren Cohen was great. This is the first Walking Dead episode, where I truly feel like the group is actually powerless. The group until now was always at the top of their game but now they seem to be under control by a new level of power. Now of course I have to talk about the deaths, which were probably the best deaths of all time in Walking Dead history. Abraham's death was definitely gross and disturbing, but just when I though things couldn't get any more screwed up, Glenn is beaten to death and it was the most disturbing thing I have ever seen on The Walking Dead. Glenn's death definitely left a hole in my chest, and made me incredibly sad, but I think in honor of Glenn, that death was pretty incredibly badass. Now these deaths happen about mid-way through the episode, but the episode still progressively moves. There is a final act that was intense as hell and had me trembling for like 15 minutes, it was amazing. Guys, The Walking Dead season 7 not only is off to a perfect start, but it's also a new path for The Walking Dead. This show is going to change for the better and I cannot wait. Props to everyone involved in this episode it blew my mind! 10/10
