The Walking Dead: Sing Me a Song (2016)

It just gets better

Warning: Spoilers
I've reached the point where I'm worried that they're running out of comic book to adapt. Well, they could always add new stuff! This episode once again focuses on Negan or more specifically Carl. Rick goes off for awhile and we see a few scenes with him. It's also great we get some bits with a lot of the other characters like Michonne. It's not that important to the story, but it's nice. Negan just comes off as so interesting in this episode. I don't even know why he wants Carl to take off his bandage. I guess it's just the first thing he thinks of when punishing him for killing his men.

The weirdest part is probably at the end. Negan actually goes into Rick's residence and plays with his kid. He then wonders aloud if maybe he probably should kill Carl and Rick after all. The way Carl is so defiant is very well done. Negan just keeps his cool the whole time. It's weird not hearing him constantly say the F-word like in the comics. You can only do so much on TV. I didn't know this would be 90 minutes long. It's still worth the length. ****
