10 grand to the person who knocks him out.....
6 December 2016
Warning: Spoilers
A former Federal Agent abandons the witness protection program and comes out of hiding when his London home is invaded by intruders who have the wrong address.

When the agent kills the intruders in self defence, the news make those hunting him to send an assassin to kill him.

Now on the run with his daughter's life in danger, the determined father must get her to safety before the people he's been hiding from finally tracking him down....

Scott Adkins is quickly becoming the biggest action star of straight to Blu Ray action films. Yes Van Damme is still churning out decent movies, but Adkins is fairly new to top billing films, and he is now the equivalent to Van Damme and Seagal when they were in their prime.

And just like martial arts movies from the eighties and early nineties, it doesn't try to do anything more than be another man on the edge with a family member in danger, in a race against time, whilst having some well choreographed fights every now and again.

And it's a pretty solid action film, albeit with the most silliest of narrative arcs I have seen in a long time to get the story going proper.

The scene where the intruders find out they are in the wrong house is frankly, one of the funniest things I've seen this year, and it nearly destroys the seriousness of the rest of the film. Cosmo pops up as the end of level bad guy, and although some of the acting is very questionable, you don't come to these films for the performances.

You come to watch the slow motion kicks, and the endless amount of expendable bad guys.

It's like going back to a 1989 video shop, and reserving Kickboxer on VHS, because the one copy is solidly booked out for three weeks.

Oh the good old days.....
