Scott Adkins is truly athletic. He's a great martial artist, looks the part and pretty much plays the part. Otherwise, the plot line has been patched together from so many other better movies. The ex good guy commando type, the threatened daughter, a nasty hit-man on his tail, the cops after him, and the good guy is undermined at every turn, and yet he comes through. This movie drags out some of the favorite B bit UK players. As I watch this, I wonder if I can make it through. Why is it that in martial arts scenes the b-level bad guys always wait to be hit. The safe house is compromised, the good guys are compromised, the trusting are taken advantage of. Everything you'd expect.
