The movie was good - but it concluded in 1.5 hours. Unfortunately, the TV show keeps you hanging week after week after week and is quite annoying. It would be a much better platform to have the father & daughter teaming up to solve different cases through time each week.
I like the characters and the acting - so I've been able to tolerate the show thus far, but I won't be able to take a second season if they don't change the format to where each episode resolves itself. The last two episodes I've actually been fast forwarding during the slow parts because it's dragging on so much.
I probably would have given the show 8 or 9 stars the first couple episodes, so by the end of the first season I'll probably be down around 4 stars! They really need to change the format!
