Well, I must say that I am quite a fan of the series. Actually, only until season 6, because after that I was only going along with the plot, not enjoying it even half of what i did in previous seasons. Unfortunately in some episodes, this series is way too "inspired" by older shows. Not that I'm not a fan of those, for example I still believe that Seinfeld is the best thing that's ever shown on television and it's almost unavoidable to go and get a few ideas there. But in this case, the story around Marshall and Lily is an absolute copy of season 6's episode 16 of King of Queens (Damned Yanky). Actually, the KOQ's episode is way way funnier. For those who haven't seen it, go ahead and do it. King of Queens is in my opinion one of the most underrated sitcoms I've ever watched.
