The Walking Dead: Some Guy (2017)
Season 8, Episode 4
Very Enjoyable Episode

This episode has a very strong start. I really felt for Ezekiel when I saw this beautiful montage of soldiers saying goodbye to their loved ones. It reminded me of an old war film, it made this small war in an apocalyptic world feel like a big war. This was ended with a beautiful speech by the king himself. I think the slaughtering of Ezekiel's people was really well done and the way he was affected by it was very believable. I enjoyed the scenes with the walker hoard chasing him and the random savior. The random savior who held Ezekiel at gunpoint was a great character and was a really good way to enforce Ezekiel's sadness. I loved the Carol scenes but among all these things I loved, I have some dislikes. The Rick and Daryl car chase scene wasn't amazing but it wasn't bad enough to ruin the episode fortunately. Carol vs the Saviours outside wasn't very good either but I enjoyed the conflict of should I save my friends or get the guns. In the end this was a good episode with a couple mistakes. All and all Ezekiel is becoming a way more relatable character and is now a lot more inserting to watch.
