Review of Saved by the Bell

I didn't get to watch this show during its heyday, but I caught reruns while MeTV was still a local channel where I live. And what a show! High school antics, laughs, tears, and misadventures all in one neat little package. This and Full House are among my favorite wholesome family sitcoms. I'm not sure where most of the original cast is now, but the guy who played Screech reminds me of a former acquaintance from high school. They even have the same initials! Anyway, the show goes through typical high school teenage life with humor and sometimes slapstick moments. There were even celebrity guest stars including Ernie Sabella (Disney's Pumbaa the warthog) and John Moschitta Jr. (Transformers' Blurr). They all made for a nice show about teenagers growing up and entering adulthood together. If you haven't seen it, try finding some reruns on a local channel.
