Warning: Spoilers
In "Couplet", Angel copes with Cordy's renewed relationship with the Groosalugg. After Groo saves the day, Angel is filled with self-doubt regarding his place within the group. Meanwhile, Wesley must deal with similar emotions regarding Gunn and Fred's newfound love. The duo's canoodling while on a stakeout leads them to be captured by a tree demon. Cordy asks Angel and Groo to retrieve a potion that will allow Groo and Cordy to make love without jeopardizing Cordy's visions. While all of this saddens Angel, in the end he realizes he's not alone, he has Connor. And maybe that's all he needs. Wesley continues to research prophecies regarding the improbably child and finds out that they foretell Angel killing his son.

This is a bit of a nondescript episode. Building off of the emotions of the previous show, "Couplet" dives deeper into Angel and Wesley's dismay at their unreturned love. Groo adores himself further to Cordy (although I think he looks goofier in his new appearance than his old one). There's two demon fights in this one but neither feel extremely important. We have no idea what's going on with WR&H or Holtz these days; the gang is dealing with their own issues.
