SHE RISES is a crude, obnoxious little indie that takes place at a shack in the woods. The story involves a married couple who turn up to shoot a porno of some sort and the even more oddball characters that they meet. This one was produced by Michael Biehn and his wife, and the former TERMINATOR star appears in support, thankfully wearing old-age makeup so you barely recognise him. I say thankfully because this film is the absolute pits. The characters are moronic and the actors worse, none more so than Angus Macfadyen who hams it up terribly as an alcoholic. The film plays out with supposed shocks and endless sex and unsavoury situations; it's uncomfortable and very, very bad.
