Strong Start, Weak Finish
19 October 2018
The documentary starts off strong, drawing the audience in emotionally with its fascinating story. However, as the narrative progresses, it begins to veer off on tangents that are not thoroughly explored or thoughtfully presented.

For example, the documentary touches on the ethics of twin studies, but fails to provide a fuller picture. It's important to note that there are hundreds, if not thousands, of twin studies that are both scientifically and ethically sound. In fact, these studies are crucial in answering the age-old question of nature versus nurture.

Furthermore, the filmmakers attempt to delve into the topic of nature versus nurture, but fail to provide adequate expertise. It's questionable whether the filmmakers are qualified to make conclusions based on one case alone. A better approach would have been to interview experts in the field such as geneticists, evolutionary psychologists, and biologists.

It's worth noting that while the documentary attempts to raise questions about nature versus nurture, this topic has already been extensively studied and debated in the scientific community. In fact, twin studies (though not necessarily this specific one) have already shed light on this question. A more informative documentary would not only tug at the heartstrings, but also educate and enlighten viewers with accurate information and expert opinions.
