The reveal of the whisperers last episode was the perfect opportunity to keep some momentum going through the plot but it was pretty much sidelined for some filler. Some positives I can see is how the presence of walkers is making for tense scenes again, as the question of whether they are actually whisperers was always on my mind. Additionally, I can acknowledge that some quality time has been spent on trying to flesh out some of the new characters and also bring the audience up to speed with characters who we haven't seen since the time jump like Jesus, Daryl and Tara. As a whole though there is no questions answered and no new questions that need answering, but the highlight is the tension built by the looming presence of the whisperers.
