William Powell and Myrna Loy are fantastic, but this isn't one of their better films. It's interesting to see Powell play a milquetoast character and he does well, but there's not nearly enough of Loy, and the film only gives us a pale reflection of their legendary chemistry. I don't mind the silliness of the plot so much, but there's just not enough sharp wit or charm. It's harmless enough though.
