No One Would Tell (2018 TV Movie)
8/10
Epic Teen Tragedy
21 December 2018
Warning: Spoilers
This movie is based on a true story. The cutbacks to the story during the trial might confuse some viewers, but you have to see it from the beginning. This story hits home hard for some career moms today, however, it highlights that teens should not keep silent concerning peer abuse. There ARE teen abusers, male and female. I have seen BOTH with my own children. My daughter got punched ONCE that I saw, the day of her first prom that night. I happened to look backward as I shut the front door and saw him grab her by the hair as she had leaned in the passenger side window. He held her by her hair with his right hand as he double punched her TWICE with his left hand, and yes, the boy was a southpaw. I ran to the car, looked at my daughter, told her to get some ice, jerked his back door open, got in, told him to drive to his house. I was going to speak to his parents to decide the rest of his life. Trust me, there were no more proms in his future. This movie is so much more to the point. The girl only dated this guy less than 6 months and lost her life! She tried on numerous occassions to break it off with him. He then would proceed to tell her how ugly she was, belittle her, undermine her self confidence, and you can not tell me that the teachers, students in the halls, and others had NOT CAUGHT his manipulations, language, and obvious psychopathic tendencies. I also kept wondering what WAS the purpose of the blond snobby, standoffish, classmate who stood by with very obvious envy, jealousy, and smiling throughout the whole movie. Girls like that contribute greatly to the under current of "disenfranchised youth". To her STATUS, is above everything. The RIGHT, clothes, right BOYFRIEND, right CAR, right EVERYTHING. Just so look as IT looks right and is the IN THING, IT has to be RIGHT. So WHAT IF you have to endure some petty humiliation? At least you have the right clothes, makeup, car, parents, and BOYFRIEND on your arm. You can do and say anything you want or need as long as you at least PRESENT yourself and anyone or anything as the proper person is on your arm. Now, on to the complacent adults. In what universe do parents EVER just let their teenaged children go and do what and when without the who, what, when and HOW. THER moral compass what so ever.

Do not even get me started on the drones running the school, who notice , NOTHING!! Parents, school officials, absolutely NO ONE in a position noticed not one thing off.
