The podcast was a helluva ride, so when I heard they were making a mini serious I rolled my eyes. Obviously much like when a movie is adapted from a book, it'll never live up to your first experience.
Firstly off, Eric Bana --- what time capsule they get him out of. But after a few episodes you calm down and remember he's a good actor. Meanwhile Connie Britton has a made a deal with our Dark Lord because the woman just doesnt age. If you're an OG Designing Women fan, you're already love Jean Smart.
This is a fun series. Nothing mind blowing or ground breaking. I think a next good project would be "Doctor Death". Oddly enough, Eric Bana would be a good casting choice for that lead as well.
