The Lawnmower woman rips him a new one! What a hoot of an episode!

Warning: Spoilers
Keep 'em coming, that's all I can say. This was unlike many of the preceding episodes which were more melodramatic and infused with worrisome ad men making their next unsuccessful client pitch. With the London England office's head honchos coming to pay Sterling and Cooper an unscheduled visit rumours are buzzing as to what the British brass coming to the U.S. office means to the balance of power in the office hiearchy.

As celebrations on the office floor are firmly underway after the new organizational chart is announced a horrific accident occurs which quite frankly, takes Mad Men in a new direction, somewhat similar to a particular accident that occurred in the classic 1994 film Pulp Fiction whilst the two hitmen Vincent Vega (John Travolta) and Jules Winnfield (Samuel L. Jackson) are driving their back seat victim in a car.

Peggy is barely coping with her new born son and her two older children, especially with little Sally who won't go near her new little brother who Betty has named after her own recently deceased dad Gene. Meanwhile Don is told that the Brits are making a special trip overseas to pick his American genius brain which perks him up more than normal.

Meanwhile as the office party kicks into high gear whilst celebrating Joan's going away party which she reluctantly participates in, one of the secretary's plays the lawnmower woman and turns the new Brit head honcho's foot into a meat grinder. It's a hilarious scene which in my humble opinion turns Mad Men from a mediocre drama into a hit series with a lot more meat on the bone. This episode needs to be watched a few times to understand the series Mad Men as a whole.
