I spent years trying to find a copy of this movie as I'm a loyal Lundgren fan. I found a copy on Youtube a while back and gave it a watch. Sadly, I should have lowered my expectations. Lundgren has the penchant to say yes to movies that are not worthy of his talent. I wouldn't call this a bad movie by any means, but there is nothing special about it what so ever. It's awfully talky and doesn't contain enough action. That's not to say there is no action, because there absolutely is. We get plenty of shootouts, but there just wasn't enough fighting or excitement for my liking. Lundgren has vastly improved over the years as an actor, and this is one of his best performances, in my opinion. Detmers unpredictably as Simone was fun to watch and she had good chemistry with Lundgren. I'm not gonna go out of my way to recommend this movie to you but I guess you could do a lot worse as well when it comes to political thrillers.
