Was this movie considered entertaining at one time? My gawd it's mostly a bunch of unwashed doofuses standing around talking and yelling at each other. Or Spencer Tracy outlining strategy for his men.
Maybe it struck a chord during WWII but its a dull, dated relic at this point.
Plus, I think the color film works against it. it looks like a bunch of Hollywood actors playing frontier dress-up.
