Warning: Spoilers
Man falls in love woman, woman is a drug addict and pulls a gun, police are called and one officer is accidentally shot and paralyzed, man gets sent to prison. Fast forward six years and the woman is no longer addicted and now married to the paralyzed police officer, the man who was sent to prison is being released and wants to get back at the happy couple. Throw in the police officers abusive partner and his unhappy wife and you have the cast of characters. Story revolves around multiple intersecting love triangles, jealousy and violence.

The film looks great with lots of strong bold colors, nice set designs and impressive cinematography.

Loosely based on the novel of the same name by Ruth Rendell.
