This TV series does not depict anternative history of Poland. Series perfectly show the atmosphere of modern day Russia. If you want to understand how Russian life is going on nowadays you might form some understanding from this movie. I am actually shocked that such a great movie is produced on Netflix. The plane story with Minister perfectly collarates with Smolensk plane crush tradegy. Sometimes I feel the author has inside info from Russian security services. SB of fictional poland obviosly is the FSB of Russia. So many simularities...
