Do not care about angsty writer man. Too bad.

Giulia is fine, well written, well acted by Valeria, etc. As odd as her situation is, plausible, explained and backstopped with functionaries and rigid truths so it works as a framing devices.

Hardly anyone and anything else is. Trite agent. Trite artiste in the form of the writer who is a man who is dissatisfied with stuff... generally... because he was born angsty? Because he has unlimited time and money to do what he wants? Who knows. Who cares? Trite. Boring. (P.S. I have an art degree. Artists are not all angsty loners.)

Most other characters, under-written. I have no impression of his wife, his (very few) friends or acquaintances, or anyone else. And since the movie focuses on Angsty Writer Guy, I found myself checking the clock a lot. Do not care what happens to him, so do not care about the rest of the film.
