If you love P I shows you will love Vegas. Run of the mill P I shows, which like sit coms today there were way many. Story lines of extortion, recovery, framed for murder etc where all trade marks of Vegas. Well written, directed and acted for a top rated show, but what made Vegas stand out was the Dan Tanner character. Urich had charisma which melded the Dan Tanner character. Tanner was smart, and tough which is need for a good P I character. But what worked was Tanner showed a human side, which resonated with the audiences. Urich's charisma shines with the fancy old car which literally drove into his apartment, along with hang along show girls/ friend Danny etc which builts up the Vegas hype which reflected Las Vegas when it was a small city with a big rep. 7 stars.
