I realize that it doesn't hold up so fabulously, but this has been my favorite film since I was a child (I was born 4 years before this film came out). I've been a huge Agatha Christie fan since I was about 10 and I love the spoofs on Christie's heroes. Don't try to solve it whatever you do until at least your 10th viewing (once you've caught all the hidden jokes). There is only one giveaway in the entire movie (I won't say it here, but it's in the "Goofs" section on IMDB). Also there are actually two or three versions of this film with two or three basically unimportant scenes that are added or subtracted according to which version you watch. When I was young I thought I had imagined this, but later after seeing the movie tons of times I found that I was not mistaken. This film holds a special place in my heart also because we used to watch it on TV at my aunt and grandmother's house.
