Ok, from the start, I should admit to loving bad movies. ( I love great movies too, just so you know)
I don't think you should watch a movie called 'Clown Motel' and then expect a work of cinematic genius. For me, the acting is terrible (mainly, though some exceptions). The writing is bad, the story is bizarre and the gore effects are ridiculously bad.
The story was no worse than some mainstream movies.
All that said, it was clear from the outset that this movie doesn't take itself seriously and also whatever your thoughts on the acting, the cast take their roles seriously even though it must have been a ball to make.
Certainly not the worst movie I've seen and definitely one of the best bad movies I've watched.
