Review of The Invisible Guest

To be honest, judging by the rating here I thought this would be a much better film. Instead, it is pretty predictable (thirty minutes in, it is evident that this is not the real lawyer) and full of plot holes, the most obvious being that if this guy is so powerful to have his lawyer delete his name from the police files, why not call the police right after the accident and just make sure that his wife never finds out. I mean, the accident wasn't his fault so he would probably walk easily, not to mention that the kid wasn't even dead after all (noone thought to check his pulse?). Other than that, it was adequately made, and ok to watch on a night in, but for anyone that is a little accustomed to crime thrillers it is, unfortunately, pretty bland.
