This is simply awful. The acting is unbelievably wooden. I had read quite a number of good reviews but I don't know what those people were watching. No character is likeable, except maybe the dad, but that is only because he's not actively offensive.
The plot contrivances are cringe worthy but the worst part is the fake audience laughter every other line. This wouldn't be an issue if the lines were even remotely funny. A swing and a miss.
