Though there's a level of simple charm to this mostly harmless installment, it suffers from very sub-standard miniature work that drags the whole picture down with it. This is made more unfortunate given the very ambitious nature of several effect shots, attempting cinematic feats unseen at the time, and leaves the film as a plodding human narrative while two over-sized Airfix models are haphazardly smacked into one another in the background.
