Review of The Ghost Position

Confusing story, difficult to follow with red herrings that led nowhere and characters introduced midstream. Incidentally, Stuart looked surprisingly unmarked for someone who had leapt to his death onto a hard concrete floor 4 stories below. No blood. No smashed face. A perfect corpse. My biggest gripe is we didn't find out who disconnected the oxygen mask? Was it the teacher? She was the only one with a motive. Too bad that the assailant's devious effort resulted in the girl miraculously reviving. Shades of Murdoch Mysteries. And what was the point of the misleading start? Unfair, I say! I actually replayed the last half of the episode to see if I had missed some clues, but I hadn't. Too clever for its own good. Or just plain, ungarnished sloppy scripting. Dish up one more like that and I won't bother watching again. Pity. Vera is an interesting, if flawed, character. Human.
