From the trailers I thought this was gunna be a badass episode. A tree has fallen down on the fences of Hilltop, people are severely injured and a lot of walkers are nearby. Unfortunately this didn't take much of the episodes run time.
So did the wind bring the tree down? Or was it the whisperers?
Their is a lot of nice scenes throughout like Michonne and Ezekiels little kiss, Judith and Michonnes conversation about RJ and the scenes between Daryl and Lydia.
Negan is a much bigger focus than last season which I like and it is more shown than ever during this episode when he saved Lydia from the angry Alexandrians still wanting revenge for the pikes who injure her severely and Negan accidentally kills one of the people.
Daryl and Negan get a lot of tense scenes and eventually he escapes his cell as someone lets him out but who?
